Embroidery & Blogger Problems

Hello, beautiful! I hope you've enjoyed some of my "throwback" blog posts. Now we will get back to some new content. A lot of things have been going on. Ricky & I went to Aruba, came back, went to New Hampshire, & I resigned from my day job. My last day with Chadwicks of Boston as an assistant buyer will be Friday the 13th (oooh scary). I have gained so much knowledge from this company & looking forward to the future ahead. I did take another corporate retail job elsewhere, I'll share where I am going on my instagram before I post on here so make sure you are following, Fashology Instagram. My reason for leaving is to simply gain experience from a bigger company.

I wanted to share some blogger problems behind this post before we get into the fashion. There is a lot more to blogging than just taking pretty pictures & hitting send. One of the photographers I use, Chelsea & I were having a hard time getting together to shoot some new content. So we tried to shoot at night & originally wanted to shoot 4 looks. Well we only got to 1 look (the one above) & this look should have been shot in the day (my bad). Day time is obviously better for lighting & this look would make more sense during the day. Beside lighting issues the wind was a force on this night. But we still got it done & this look is still important to discuss.

Let's get to the fashion babes. This shirt is from Chadwicks for $49.99. It has so many on trend features including the blue stripe & the embroidery. Embroidery is such a huge trend & it is here to stay for Spring/summer 2018. You can find embroidery on shirts, jeans, bags, dresses, & shoes. This trend adds a touch of boho to any look. I paired my stripe embroidered shirt with white jeans, booties, & my backpack (my mother-in-law gave it to me, she is the best). I think it is also important to note that backpacks aren't just for school anymore. Even in college I opted for a tote instead of a backpack but now these bags are a nice alternative to handbags. Backpacks are a great "go to work" bag & allow for hands-free adventuring on the weekends.

I apologize for the lengthy post there was just so much to catch up on! Bottom line: invest in embroidery & get yourself a backpack both which will fit your personal style. Stay tuned  for an update on my employment!

Stay Sassy & God Bless!
