Hi Dolls!
Hope you fabulous ladies are enjoying this beautiful weather! Summer has finally arrived and if you could not tell by the weather, you most definitely could from all the floral prints fluttering the streets! The typical floral look can get repetitive but with these new floral patterns, you can rock the trend as if it is brand new! Let us get to it, shall we?
Floral patterns will always be a statement in the summer, whether it be on dresses, shorts, tops or even handbags! As the wise Miranda Priestly once said, "Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking." This year, the floral patterns are different from what we have previously seen year after year. The patterns have become more wild and bright and contrast off dark colors.
This dress I found at American Eagle and I absolutely love it! Not only was it a good price but it is also the perfect dress for summer! It has the floral pattern but it is more quiet and reserved. The dress is dark which helps the florals pop more. I love the way it flows and is not tight fitting so you will not have to worry about sweating in the summer heat! This is definitely a dress you can wear to lunch with the girls, on a casual date by the water, or even spice it up with some wedges like I did and wear it to a special event!
Now I know what you are thinking, “florals, how original”. Check out the newest patterns and you will find that there are so many ways to spice up the original floral look. Contrast it with a dark colored dress like mine or make it pop with some fun, bright colors but whichever style you choose, make sure to work it girl (:
