Hello, beautiful! I hope this blog post sees you well. Today we are talking denim. Denim is loved by many for it's comfort. People love denim so much they are wearing denim on top of denim. Honestly, I personally had a hard time warming up to this trend. Maybe it's due to the fact that I didn't have the perfect denim top till now or it could be that I like to dress up. Whatever the case maybe I found a way to make it work for my personal style.
The trend is pretty simple: wear denim on the bottom & top. I personally like mixing denim washes as you don't want it to get too matchy matchy, unless that is your thing than go for it. I like to add a cardigan or a blazer that isn't denim, like this cardi pictured to give the ensemble more depth. I have added a scarf & my scala hat which I absolutely love. This hat is adjustable from the inside (bonus points)!
One of the things I absolutely adore about fashion is being able to wear a trend but rock it your way. We are all different, unique, & beautiful.
