How to get the Ideal Beach body

Hello, beautiful! I hope this post sees you well. Not sure if you caught up on my instagram stories or not but lately I've been in some sort of weirdo freak funk that I haven't been able to shake. Listening to Goal Digger, Jenna Kutcher's podcast I realized I needed to get out of my own head, grab life by the horns (or balls for those of you that know me personally), & live life more intentionally! I feel like I have been just coasting through life just getting by. But life is SO much more than that. Anyway *end rant* let's get to the real reason why you came here today, to learn how to get the ideal beach body.

Ready? Have a body, put on a bathing suit, & go to the beach! It's literally that simple. My body is far from "perfect" but it's perfectly imperfect, unique to me, & my husband loves it. I know we all have certain expectations for ourselves but can we for the love of linen agree to love ourselves no matter what?! Take this shoot for example. This took A LOT of guts for me to do. I was literally texting my photographer up until the shoot reasons why I was not to because I so nervous. "I never got that spray tan I wanted" (note how pasty white I am HAHA) "what if there are kids at the beach will that be awkward to do a shoot" "what if people think I'm extra" "I didn't paint my finger nails" But I thought of my mission: to help women establish a wardrobe they can live life confidently in one closet at a time. How could I do that if I'm personally not authentically living that? So I cut the negative self talk real quick & we had a fun shoot.

Let's discuss swimsuit shopping for a minute, it's pretty much the worst (at least for me). I'm 5'2, curvy, & have the shortest torso in America (I'm convinced). I originally wanted a cute one piece for this shoot but they just don't work for me. Like the torso is too long making the boob section awkward & above my boobs haha So I was struggling on what to wear. I opted for my highwaisted bottoms from Target which essentially look good on pretty much any body type & this palm print top from Pac Sun which I got last year. I am a HUGE fan of mixing & matching especially from different stores. As I have mentioned in previous posts not all brands are made in the same specs so sometimes you have to go fishing & be creative by going to other stores.

I hope this post inspires you in a couple of ways: 1. To rock your fabulous body at the beach no matter what size, skin color, or shape you are in because girl you are beautiful. (but I know it's hard so shut that mean girl up in your head) 2. Don't give up on the perfect swimsuit. It is out there you just may have to go searching for it. (I can help with that) Well my sweet babes thank you for reading along. This blog brings me joy & if I can help inspire just one of you I believe that is what success is. Anyway till next time, talk soon!
