Hello, beauty! How are you?! Thank you for stopping by. I literally cannot believe how fast summer is flying by. We have some exciting things in the works & I can't wait to share with you as we go. Getting straight to business today, lets talk fashion.
I am kicking myself for getting rid all the denim skirts I owned in the 90's/early 2000's. Granted they probably wouldn't fit me now & they were much shorter back in the day, so maybe it was for the best. But are you with me? Denim skirts are back in trend & I'm totally obsessed. These skirts are so versatile you can dress them up or make them super casual. Maybe you are reading this & thinking that you or too old or that you could never pull this off. Well huunnny there are so many options out there for you to pick from that fit your body type, lifestyle, & personality. With the right styling you can truly make any trend YOU!
If you have been following me for a while you know that I favor a-line & fit & flare silhouettes because they flatter my body best. When looking for a denim skirt that was exactly what I was looking for. My style ranges from feminine, edgy, & put together. When I spotted this button front skirt from ASOS I had to have it. If you are as much of a fan as I am you can get one for yourself HERE for $47.50 (org $95)! I made this look me by pairing it with this off the shoulder ruffle blouse also from ASOS. Which you can get yourself HERE for $26 (org $39). The clutch is a retired Vera Bradley piece & the wedges are Steve Madden.
I had never thought to shop at ASOS before but a few gals at work do. I thought I would check it out for myself, they had a summer sale going on like up to 70% off. With my trip coming up I thought it would be nice to add a couple of pieces to my wardrobe. When buying online I always think it is important to check out the reviews & look at the measurements so you can get the right size. I preach this ALL the time, every brand is different with their sizing. In this single ASOS order I placed for example I had a small, 8, 10, large, & medium. So make sure you do your homework so you don't have to deal with pesky returns.
Alright babes I hope you are feeling inspired to pick up your own denim skirt or at least gleaned some helpful online shopping tips! Till next time sweet friends!
